What personal data we collect and why

When a visitor leaves a comment on your site, the data displayed in the comment form and the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string are collected to help detect spam.

You can provide an anonymous string (also called a hash) created from your email address to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available at https: //automattic.com/privacy/. If the comment is approved, the profile picture is published in the context of the comment.

When uploading images to websites, please do not upload images with embedded location information (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and extract any location data from the images on the website.
